Adjustment functions for the right support

Changing working conditions and tasks that vary greatly – a chair in the laboratory must be able to adjust smoothly and flexibly in order to support people in all situations. The NEON for the laboratory is an excellent choice in all variants, particularly when it comes to sitting for long periods or needing strong support for the back.

Seat depth adjustment

Depending on leg length, the NEON can be adjusted by up to 60 mm. This means the thighs are optimally supported and ensure a healthy angle between the upper body and legs as well as the knees.

Backrest height adjustment

The height of the backrest can be adjusted by up to 60 mm. This allows both tall and short employees to be well supported, particularly in the lumbar spine region.

Weight regulation

he weight regulation between 50 – 120 kg enables the individual adjustment of the backrest counter-pressure.

4D-armrests

To relieve the strain on the upper body, shoulders and arms, the NEON can be equipped with armrests. The armrests can be individually adjusted in height by 110 mm.

The width of the multifunctional armrests can be adjusted by 20 mm to fit the shoulders.

Seat inclination adjustment

For a healthy sitting posture, the angle between the legs and the upper body must be at least 90°. However, when working on laboratory equipment that requires you to lean forwards, the angle quickly becomes smaller. That's why the Bimos NEON has a seat inclination adjustment that allows the seat and backrest to be tilted forwards by up to 9°.

Seat height adjustment

Every laboratory chair must be adjusted exactly to the height of the employee. The Bimos NEON therefore offers different adjustment ranges in the different versions. The seat of the low NEON can be adjusted between 450 and 620 mm and the seat of the high NEON between 590 and 870 mm. The height adjustment of the NEON is particularly large, with a range of up to 280 mm.

Synchrontechnik

With synchronous technology, leaning back involves a combination of seat and back movements, providing support for the body during all movements. The lumbar spine is thus supported permanently and in all positions. Synchronous technology enables active, dynamic sitting. For optimum support, the backrest can be locked in any position.

Permanent contact backrest

A somewhat simpler but proven alternative is the permanent contact backrest. Here, only the backrest moves when you lean back. The backrest can be locked in all positions.

Anti-shock lock

An anti-shock lock prevents the backrest from springing forwards unintentionally when the lock is released.
