A few facts about us
Bimos is a brand of the Interstuhl Group, which is a market leader with two other brands: Interstuhl, innovative seating and space solutions for the office, and Backforce, the seating solution for the gaming industry.
Interstuhl's story of success began in 1961, when two blacksmiths, Wilhelm and Werner Link, started to revolutionise the world of work. With their inventive spirit, a lot of hard work and a clear view for the needs of the people around them, they created the first workplace chair, the Bi-Regulette. To this day – nearly 60 years and more than 30 million sold chairs later – our passion for innovative solutions that make people's lives and work easier is what drives us. Interstuhl now does business worldwide and is one of the leading European chair manufacturers.

Sustainability
Sustainability at Bimos
Interstuhl recognised the importance of sustainability a long time ago and has integrated the concept of sustainability into all work processes within the company. In fact, for decades we have made a point of being responsible in our use of resources and how we treat our world. We were one of the first companies in our industry to receive EMAS certification, back in 1995, a sign that we practise effective environmental protection and save resources intelligently. In 2010, we were then honoured with the environmental award of the state of Baden-Württemberg. And Neon was the first workplace chair ever to be awarded the Blue Angel.

Are you looking for an cost-effective workplace chair? Then alongside the quality of the chairs, you should also have a look at how their design affects the health of your employees. These two factors ultimately determine how worthwhile your investment has been.
The ergonomic packages of Bimos chairs are designed to ensure that the sitting posture has a positive effect on the health of employees. In addition, we make sitting as comfortable as possible. Poor seating can cost up to 40% of human energy – which is then not channelled into effective work.
We also adhere very strictly to safety guidelines, because they ensure that your employees can be relaxed and protected as they work. In most cases, our chairs meet standards beyond those required.
