All materials used on the TEXON exceed the required values for discharge and surface resistance. From the comfortable Skintec upholstery in black or a light colour to the steel and plastic parts right down to the base – you can rely on the overall ESD discharge across all components of this ESD chair in every regard.

Standard EN 61340 sets out measures and requirements to prevent damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD). This standard is part of the international series of standards IEC 61340 and focuses on the protection of sensitive electronic components and devices. The TEXON, just like all other ESD chairs from Bimos, exceeds the requirements of the standard: Its discharge resistance and its surface resistance are 10⁹ Ω instead of the required >10⁶ Ω.

Artificial leather offers a similar level of comfort to fabric due to its softness. In addition, it is easy to clean and can be treated with disinfectants. Artificial leather from Bimos is always completely free of harmful substances, PVC and plasticisers, which protects employee health on the one hand and slows down the ageing process of the upholstery on the other hand. It terms of economic efficiency, it is an excellent choice.

Changeable upholstery

Greater cleanliness thanks to removable upholstery

The ESD TEXON is equipped with changeable upholstery, which can be removed with one click. This allows for cleaning of the surfaces underneath the seat and backrest upholstery. These surfaces are closed and wipeable – another step towards cleanliness in ESD workplaces. And of course new upholstery can be inserted without any issues.

ESD workplaces often present challenging conditions: Long periods of sitting while leaning forward and the short distance between hands and eyes require a great deal of focus and energy. Good work gets done when employees are well supported in their posture by the chair on which they are sitting. Correct sitting – intuitively

The ergonomics package of the ESD TEXON offers individual adjustment options for optimum body protection. This not only expresses appreciation, but is also a good idea in terms of economic efficiency. After all, the functions of a good chair can significantly reduce strain and the resulting health issues.

4D-armrests

The height of the armrests can be individually adjusted by up to 110 mm. That allows the chair to perfectly adapt to the distance between the user's shoulders and elbows.

The armrests can also be adjusted to fit the user's shoulders in terms of width. This setting can be adjusted by up to 20 mm.

The depth of the armrests can be adjusted by up to 60 cm towards the front or rear.

Sometimes you need more space, sometimes you need greater support – the angles of the armrests can be swivelled in and out by up to +/-45°.

Seat height adjustment

The seat height of the ESD TEXON can be set individually – both for the high and the low chair version. This means that the chair can be fine-tuned to suit your height and can be used by more than one employee.

Automotion technology

Thanks to automotion technology, the ESD TEXON adapts to the movements of the seated person and offers perfect support in any position. The basic mechanism enables the seat and backrest to move forwards and backwards simultaneously. The seat and the back surface can be locked in three positions to provide even more support. The Flex Back is a flexible element underneath the backrest that increases the range of backwards movement even further. It offers greater comfort, especially when the backrest is locked, as it keeps your back moving slightly while still offering plenty of support. If this is not wanted, the Flex Back can also be secured in place.
