The practical all-rounder that provides full ESD protection at the electronics workplace: The NEXXIT for ESD areas. Easy to handle, intuitive with all ergonomic adjustment functions and fully dissipative from backrest to castor, the NEXXIT is a partner you can fully rely on in the workplace. The ESD NEXXIT fulfils the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1 for use in EPAs.

Advantages of the NEXXIT at the ESD workplace

The NEXXIT ensures reliable discharge of even the smallest electrostatic voltages with its whole-product ESD discharge. To achieve this, upholstery, castors or glides, plastics and coated steel parts are all dissipative.

The ESD standard EN 61340-5-1 specifies how low the discharge resistance of a chair must be. The NEXXIT falls below this value and also has an extremely low surface resistance.

Dissipative materials

Electrostatic charge is generated both on objects and on people. It is therefore important that the materials of the ESD NEXXIT reliably dissipate into the floor the electrostatic charge that is carried by employees and would jeopardise the components. At the same time, it must be ensured that no new charge is generated on the chair itself. All upholsteries used in the ESD area have been developed specifically for this purpose.

Fabric is a popular cover material, especially in clean environments such as ESD areas, and offers employees ultimate comfort.

The highlights of the NEXXIT

The design of the NEXXIT combines intuitive functionality with harmonious proportions. Its clean lines pay tribute to its simplicity. The most characteristic feature is the handles, which are always black for the ESD area. They prove particularly practical when the chair needs to be moved quickly.

The NEXXIT is the Bimos chair with an especially tapered backrest. The reach range that this creates to the side and to the rear ensures exceptional freedom of movement at the ESD workplace. When reaching to the side or to the rear, the shoulder is not hindered and the back does not have to compensate for any additional strain. This means, for example, that tools can be picked up from a trolley parked at the side or components can be placed on shelves behind the chair without any problems.
